Transformers Collectors v4
I hit Wal-Mart the other night while they were getting ready to re-stock. I scoured over all of the boxes but none of them were TF's. :sad: The SW geeks had already torn thru the 3 cases of figures that were in the pile.

Bug auction V.2 is scheduled to start at 8:30PM PDT tonight.

Andrew, I think I found that store in chinatown that you were talking about, but all they had were bent, faded, and beat up Triggerbot Backstreets and Triggercon Ruckus'. The prices were $18 and $12, but even with haggling that would've been ridiculous for such crappy toys.
They also had a bunch of faded japanese Transformers that didn't look worth checking out.

That's exactly the place I'm talking about. The carded figures were hanging on an end cap. Directly to your right, on a wall shelf were some beater white boxed toys.

I KNEW this heads up was coming. I saw Trainee007 stock up on eBay over the weekend.

Jef, if you can ... please ask if SOC can get the replica WST's also. I need those jets.

The SW guys are pretty hardcore, but I witnessed a Hot Wheels collector push a child *to the ground* to get to an item on the pegs. I've been shoved into personally while just standing near the HW. Those guys are animals.
oh, can you change the start time from 8:30PM PDT to 7:34 PDT?
east coast = 10:34pm
central = 9:34pm
west coast = 7:34pm
I'm thinking 8:30 PDM is a bit too late for the central and east coast folks.
also, the :34 is to avoid the automated auction flood. People always trigger their auctions to start on the hour or half hour. By staggering our auction out a bit, we avoid having the system end our auction with 20 others. It'll not group us together at the same end time.

It's strange though ... I can stereotype HW collectors. I know what they look like before they're even in the department. :squint:
oh, you're the king around here ... do you know the value on something like this?

This is unopened, sealed, new, etc.

I have an estimate of $75 to $100, is that a bit over? under?

I snapped some pictures of the store and the martial arts place, but it's on a camera phone and came out pretty bad. I didn't want to take pictures inside the store since they were already following me around.
