i don't mind waiting, but i wonder if they're ever actually going to get here. also, why did he put in an order for another 10 to be made? i thought the original batch called for 10 only, and that was it.. :thinking:

how many have we received so far, and who got those?

i hope we don't get screwed.. :hs: :sad: i also worry that if we do get a next batch, the quality is going to be crap, since it sounds like he's fighting with his people to get anything done.

 

I'm not too sure what he meant by that at all. We weren't promised a limited number, but we were told 10 and 10 only.

We have 4. One was shipped to Monk (his entire order was ready at the time 2 KO primes, 4 tapes) One was shipped to Jae (his entire order was ready at the time, and I was told by derry more reds were coming)

There are 2 sitting in my room waiting for 6 people

at this point, I'd like to say that Derry is an awesome seller. He's been 100% to his word on mostly everything. Delays always suck, but I have absolutely no fears of being screwed over.

If we're screwed, Derry's entire business is screwed.

He's completely out of his money maker. He's pushing the factory because he needs money too. I have full confidence that these Primes are coming, just a little more patience. :hs:

The quality on these have been "good" The paint on the metal parts have been a bit thin, so it's not the best coat of red paint I've seen. This not only goes for the toes, but chest on all KO's.

 

I really don't think that will be the case, since he's been upfront with us the whole time. I think this is something that is out of his control, but at least he's letting us know what's going on. Besides, if it really comes down to it, Andrew and I have his work address, and I have his phone number.

by all means, voice your concerns. Fact is, we paid about 5 weeks ago and don't have completed orders. The shipping date on the reds slipped 3 times already, so what you're saying is what everyone is thinking.

 

an MISB GF Soundwave commands about $80 + shipping. The Cybertron version is on the way, but people want the GF set.

 

I'm not ready to panic just yet.

As an example of the follow-through he has... I had originally purchased all three of the currently available Prime KOs from him (eBay) before joining this group. I didn't open them, as I want to keep them minty fresh. Probably six weeks after I got them, out of nowhere I get three Prime instruction booklets in the mail. I'm assuming they didn't get put in the boxed ones he sent. If that's indeed the case, he sent those with no prompting from me - it looks like he was just being thorough. So he gets a little more benefit of the doubt from me for the time being.

Also, I should have two sets of regular cassettes and two sets of crystal cassettes, I believe. I can wait on those until redfoot arrives, unless they're just in the way and you need to get them out.

 

He did the same thing here for the items I ordered. I didn't even know they were missing.

Worst case scenario, we ask for our money back until he gets stock in?

 

I'd only exercise that option if we see other KO Optimus Prime stock arrive on eBay. (ex, if we see 10 regulars and 10 blacks, etc)

That means toys are coming, but ours aren't. Otherwise, I completely trust the guy.
