already ...

on top of Override GTS, Exhillion, Soundwave, and Nemesis Breaker.

It seems like Hasbro is forcing this line to finish to make way for Neo G1 by September ... possible movie toys by December. Anything on release map for Cybertron seems like it's been shifted up by 4 or 5 weeks.

===============

the "Remy" of TFKenkon posted that THS-02 is completely sold out in China. He missed it and is hoping for a 2nd shipment.

People have been waiting for a Galaxy Force Primus 2nd shipment. It looks like Hasbro is using the Galaxy Force version for Cybertron ... therefore, there might not even be a 2nd shipment in the G1 box.

Was Skywarp actually in the Cybertron cartoons?

I think that's just a repaint.

this goes back to that "hasbro has to use (name here), every 2 years" issue. They don't want to lose trademarks on their most popular characters, so they'll do anything to make a toy of it.

That's why the minicons keep coming back.

How many re-paints are they going to try and push on us? I'm going to have to abandon trying to get every Cybertron figure. It's getting silly.

Dark Scorponok: Never was in the Cybertron series, and is exactly the same as Energon Scorponok

OP & UM Costco Cybertron Special: Re-Packaged Energon Toys

Repugnus...Excillion...Skywarp...Nitro Convoy...etc...:crazyr:

Here comes the basic Hasbro strategy ... after the main characters are exposed, start doing repaints to resemble G1 characters. You can't tell me you'd turn down a green version of Evac or even a black Soundwave.

The Cyberton line is very loaded in the $6.99 and $9.99 figures ... the upper range guys ($20 and $30 class) is lacking right now.

^ Black Soundwave = Toys Dream Project (e-hobby?) Soundblaster

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...90&mode=retail

And no I couldn't turn it down. I've had one on pre-order since it was announced.

Soundwave:

I already have the JDM version. I'll probably get this too.

All I'm saying is that the re-paints in the current Cybertron line-up are getting tiresome. They'll re-paint anything, but they won't give us a multi-pack of different colored Rumbles (the thing that Coby repaired for his own use).

What's more annoying is when they release a figure into the Cybertron line that is from a prior line just to re-use the mold.

It's odd. I'll complain about the Cybertron re-paints, but a G1 repaint? Never. I've got Tracks in blue and red...Insecticons in Diaclone Colors and normal...etc...

Hopefully the TomyTakara company merger will bring about product lineups that make more sense.

There's no way the black Soundwave, if it does come, will ever be as detailed as the Toy's Dream Project version.

The Cybertron line as a whole > Galaxy Force.

We got Dark Crumplezone (Armbullet), Japan got nothing. It's being brought back over though e-Hobby.

We're getting Menasor (Gigolonia Decepticon drill) and Quickmix (Gigolonia Autobot mixer), Japan got nothing.

We got exclusives such as Downshift, Shortround, Wreckloose, Swerve, Swindle, Hardtop, Brushguard, Japan has a bunch of $100 repaints.

The only thing we got severly screwed on is the Scrapmentals. The JDM version, Ramble, came in 3 colors to match the show ... these repaints would ACTUALLY MAKE SENSE ... yet Hasbro refuses to do them.

Now, Galaxy Force Rambles in blue or yellow pull $100's on eBay.

I don't understand why the same clone trooper in red, yellow, blue, black, grey, whatever is done for starwars ... yet repaints in the TF line have to be totally off the chart.

hey, guys.. in regards to the bug auction.. when hammy receives payment, should he send us our cut outside of PayPal? i mean, PayPal will take a fee when the buyer sends hammy payment, and then take another fee if hammy sends up payment, right?

theoretically they can end up taking quite a chunk for themselves if the money were passed around accounts for long enough. reminds me of our government with taxes.

PayPal is getting rich off us.. :hs:
