on Derry's payment, about $50 of it went to PayPal in fees ... on top of all the other fees we had to pay to get it to Jef.

PayPal must make soooo much money.

Derry lives 2 miles away from my in-laws in LA. I'll probably try to meet up with him next time I go down to see what he has in person.

We should have gotten him to take individual payments from us so he could eat the fees instead of us.

On a side note, I find it ironic that a group of folks who I have never met can spell my name correctly (1 f), but people who I've worked with for 2 years can't even do it.

Tell the truth. You're using those to brace the door. Your wife was coming after you because of that last TF purchase orgasm.

I thought about that, but the reason we get a break on the pricing is that we do all the coordination for him. He doesn't have to track individual orders and payments, plus shipping to each of us. He gets a total, sends one package, and it's done.

I still feel we are getting great deals, even with fees and shipping. Hell, $35 on the clear tapes.

If anyone is serious about being an eBay vendor, I can check with Derry to work out a wholesale arrangement, for a small fee on my end, of course.

Yeah, I just meant for paying him. Shipping and everything would still work the same, but getting a lot of random payments is a little bit more of a pain. And in the end it only costs each of us a few bucks more.
