Default Syria is falling..

The middle east falling country by country..

Rafiq al-Hariri (Lebanons president) killed, all the suspicions are directed against Syria. Syrian military forces left their Lebanese occupation soon after Hariri's death. The Syrian Federal Security major are dead, "suicide" This man knew all the things behind Hariri's death, that makes Syria the first suspect against his death. Abdelhalim Khaddam, Syria's vice president, left Syria and are located in Paris right now, this man told a bunch of stories that Syria have been hiding, he told how Bashar al Assad (Syria's president) threatened Rafiq al Hariri.. He told all the things on a Live interview on international TV.

Syria is falling..

either way, the current government which is a corrupt front for hamas will be replaced by another corrupt front for hamas. either way, syria is and will be run by zealots.

From what I have heard about Syria is that Bashar Assad is a moderate. Remember, he was a doctor living abroad when his older brother, and heir apparent, was killed and then returned to Syria to take the Presidency from his father upon his death. Rumor has it that Assad is merely a figurehead and that the military generals run the country. It is Assad that needs to be in their favor to remain in power, not the other way arround. This is due to the heavy Iranian influence on Syria with Hezbollah which has their own political wing active in Syrian government.

Assad is not a politician and the scary part is he is powerless to negotiate with.
