Maybe we should just let them go ... and keep New Hampshire.

New Hampshire is the last bastion of Conservatism in New England, and if it were not for all the liberals tired of the taxes their Democratic legislature in MA levied on them moving to NH we would be a clear red state. Now we are a deep shade of purple.

If it gets any worse I think my whole family will have to move to the south or Montana.

If I could pack my whole family up (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) I would consider it.

I have always loved Montana!

$5 fine for speeding. If they catch you.

I actually interviewed for an interesting desk job in Great Falls.
A little remote. My hometown in suburban Detroit is bigger than 50,000 people, and I'm used to living in a region of 5 million people.

Meh... I say go for it. Power to the people.

Whatever happened to splitting California in three? Leave the suckers in the South, then the Valley, Bay Area, and the Sierra in the North, and then Shasta, Cascades, and Southern Oregon as the state of Jefferson.

Property is dirt cheap in Montana too. You would live like a king...

The pay isn't great. Sure, it would be better than being higher-paid but living in NYC or NoVA ... but it was dirt-cheap, considering how much work involved.

And you'd be in the middle of nowhere. Sure, I'm happy most days if I can go into a Barnes & Noble, but there's nothing else. Well, skiing. h:
