For some reason, NSX's don't hold their value... maybe that's a good thing for those future 2nd hand buyers :naughty:

First - read the question before you answer. He asked what the MOTOR is worth.

Second - a 12 year old NSX in good shape is worth about 50% of its original price. How is that not holding value? Most cars are ready for scrap at that point.

Ask him what his Civic is worth for an even bigger laugh. Sounds like a penis envy.

Probably whatever the owner wants for it. They're not easy to come by. I'd say close to $8,000 if I had to guess. As for the guy with the 92-95 civic, talking about NSXs not holding their value, my 92 has an ACV of $30,000 which is half of its original price tag 10 years ago. Your 92 or so civic, has an ACV of around $3,000 compared to its $12,000 price tag. Do the math (start > programs > accessories > calculator ) :fawk:

Its a pretty easy swap. However, if you are looking for max hp, you are probably better off building up the 3L motor. You can bore it out to 3.3L and set the compression to what ever you want. In the long run, it will make more hp than the 3.2L.
