Hi everyone this is my first post and I was just wanting for some advice.
I currently own a 2004 sti (no I am not some troll I will post pics of it for you guys) I have done some mods but they are easy things I can sell that will cost little in terms of loss. I bought my car used for 42 can and I am sure i can sell it for the same. I am considering a nsx and one of the biggest reasons is style the second is tuning (awd dyno's are in the states only)
How are these cars resale wise? Are they a good tuning platform for power?
If I spent lets say 5g canadian can it keep up with the sti? i think they hold good value man. go to nsxprime.com and read and read and read some more. if you go to the faq and browse the forums i'm sure you can make up your mind from there. good luck

 

They depreciate at least $20k just by driving them off the lot.

 

Screw the NSX I think the STI has a lot more potential let alone a lot safer

 

canada, as in the canada that shits on us its weather once a year and we freak out? yeh, ho-kay buddy, dont keep the AWD car....


but in reality, i say that you should keep the STi it's got alot of potential and is well, AWD which is nicer in extreme conditions

 

wel with snow and traction STI is the way to go. That car is so damn fast I dont even know why you are even thinking about getting rid of it for a 91 NSX with 80,000 miles. The STI is faster and will last a lot longer then the NSX

 

I think the NSX would last longer.

 

dude id stay with the sti. If u realli think about it the nsx would suck in the snow, plus i think having a more comfortable car like the STI is better. Im not sayin the nsx is uncomfortable, im jus sayin id like more room in my car.

 

Imo the nsx is a very hot looking car But the Sti has so much more potential. Currently there is an Sti hitting 719 whp and who knows how much power they can extract from the 2.5 litter usdm motor. As far as looks the nsx wins hands down. Im also an Sti owner and to tell you the truth I will not trade my Sti for no other car at this price range .

 

STi. I'd like to have an NSX but they aren't practical. Four doors with a decent trunk, plenty of power and AWD. All that adds up to a pretty big deal in my opinion.
