Default NSX power steering?

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and first off I'd like to say I do not own a NSX, though i wish i did lol. I have a question about the steering system for all years. Some people say that the NSX does not have Power steering or power assisted steering. Could someone give me the lowdown on the steering system on the NSX? What year had what and did the 5speed have a different system then the autos? Thank you in advance!

I had a 91 NSX (manual transmission) few years ago and mine didnt have the power steering wheel.

Im not sure but 91 models with manual transmission didnt have power steering wheel.
but only the models with, auto transionnion has the power steering.

Once i drove Miami to LA and the handing was perfact. no problem even if there was no power steering wheel.

However, when I was in the parking lot!!!! haha... I had to use two hands..

The following NSXs were sold in North America with power steering:

1991-1994 automatic transmission NSX
1995-2004 all NSX except 1999 Zanardi NSX

The following NSXs were sold in North America without power steering:

1991-1994 manual transmission NSX
1999 Zanardi NSX

It was never an option. Depending on which model you bought, as noted above, it either had it, or it didn't.

Incidentally, the manual steering on the NSX is really wonderful, and gives a great feel. It's easy to use, and even slow-speed parking maneuvers aren't too bad.
