Every time I see an NSX in person I swear that I'm gonna get a used one day and like restore it and whatnot. Not that I think they age badly. But I'm guessing they would need a few things here and there.

But that will probably never really be practical...

Honda Designers make their cars to last for a while because they don't go crazy on fashion "styles" pre-determined by the decade or whatever tendency on the market .. my gf used to love the Nissan Z .. and she didn't like too much the S2K ... 3 years later she hates teh Z and loves the S2K look ,,,, LOL ... many Hondas you look and even though you know they are old you don't really know which gen etc ... like my 95 lude .... people has NO idea that my 4th gen was released in 92 .. (mine is 95) and the NSX in '89/'90 and i bet you in 2015 we'll still enjoying the S2K look and the NSX for sure LOL that's why i like the look of the HSC ,, isn't crazy .. is just almost perfect ,, like the NSX, many people don't remember but in 90 - 91 .. the NSX was the dream in the looks department for many Ferrari fans that always asked for what the NSX came with ... after that the market has changed a lot .. thanks to the NSX

I believe this is Untrue, I was planning in buying an Acura NSX More in the Future, and if I couldn't have that I'd go for Corvette C ;_;
and of what I know... That is Acura NSX 2005 Concept Model...

and that does look like a Ferrari, Why doesn't Honda-Acura Remodelate the NSX And keep doing it??? Maybe it is because its only a 2 Seat Car, maybe if they would fix up a bit the NSX, and make it Coupe but for at least 4 individuals or something, they would maybe buy it more, because a married man cannot buy that because he'd have kids, and if he buys that it'd be only for him and his wife... Maybe the problem is the Classic Style Body and the Space inside the car.

the nsx is behind the times... yes it can keep up but it's like slapping layers of paint over the old ones... it's not as good as starting form scratch

the HSC as it's called stands for honda sports coupe... i dont think it will be labeled that here in the US

right now it is said that the new NSX will feature a v10 producing more than 500 horse and possibly a form of AWD

i can tell you right now that i love the current NSX, but honestly, the platform is a dinosaur

Here is Honda's press release about the future of the NSX:

Acura Developing a Successor to NSX
Current Generation NSX Production to Halt at Year End

TORRANCE, Calif. 07/11/2005 -- To further enhance the division's performance image, Acura is developing a new sports car to succeed the award-winning NSX supercar. Acura also announced that production of the current generation NSX will cease at the end of the year due to the extensive retooling necessary to meet stringent 2006 emissions and equipment regulations for the U.S., Europe and Asia.

"We are committed to having an ultra high-performance vehicle in the Acura lineup in the future," said John Mendel, senior vice president, automobile operations. "It's too early to comment on specifics, but the all-new model will be just as groundbreaking as the 1991 NSX."

As the first-ever supercar from Japan, the NSX was created as a hand-built, exotic, mid-engine sports car that would establish entirely new levels of performance, refinement and drivability. The NSX went on sale in the summer of 1990 and the following year posted record U.S. sales of 1,940 vehicles. Through June of 2005, NSX cumulative sales totaled 8,854 in the U.S. and more than 18,000 worldwide.

During its 15-year run, the NSX has been showered with accolades including, Automobile Magazine's "Automobile of the Year and Design of the Year" awards, Popular Science's "Best of What's New," Road &Track's "Ten Best Cars in the World" list. Motor Trend magazine also named the NSX to its "Top Ten Performance Cars" list and touted it as "the best sports car ever built."

Acura designed the NSX as a technological and performance showcase. Among other innovations, it was the first production car to feature an all-aluminum body, chassis, and suspension and to utilize titanium connecting rods. It featured a transversely mounted dual overhead cam V-6 engine equipped with Acura's breakthrough VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) system and a variable volume induction system.

Over time, the NSX received continuous updates to ensure its competitiveness and popularity with serious sports car enthusiasts. The NSX has also captured multiple championships in the highest levels of sports car and prototype racing.

Additional Acura information and downloadable high-resolution images of the NSX are available at www.acuranews.com.

Those pics are from the Concept Model for the 2003 NSX, those piczs are quite old, maybe the 2006 NSX Concept Model is going to be better.
I want a fucking 2004/2005 Acura NSX,
If Honda Acura is REALLY gonna use that shit for 2006 Model, I'll draw my own concept model working my ass off and send it to Honda -_-
I know it'll be useless, But If they like it, maybe it can well be used -.-

What the hell guys...? Its about time to get out of the old cracky models. Don't you guys realize what you see? It's the next evolution of cars, sharp aero cut angles, aggressive front, aero dynamic, concept clean looking designs, high technology... we are at the CONCEPT AGE of all vehicles, if you don't like what you see, then you might as well just get the old squarish cars, from this day on, you guys gonna see more and more concept looking cars, don't just stand on the old models just because you drive/own one. Switch an angle and look at things, everything around you, everyday life, open youy eyes people, its about time to change, just look at the poor NSX, look at it, looks so goddamn old and ready to be retired. Its now too softcore looking and yes hopefully a more aggressive powerful engine will be replaced.

-2001 Honda Prelude Type-SH
-2002 Honda Integra Type-R (Driver Side still on RIGHT - not modified)
-2004 Acura RSX Type-S A-Spec
