I was over at VWVortex surfin' their Car Lounge when I stumbled upon the following post:

New Acura RL Sneak Peak?

The poster explains they were surfin' the MotorTrend site and found this picture:



Now, while the first car is definitely a TL, the second one is questionable. Is it possible that Honda's fudged up and given us a preview we shouldn't be getting?

 

IMHO too wild for the RL. Perhaps a previous TL concept.

 

It looks like just another TL behind it to me.

Could the next RL have the same front end as the TL and TSX? :dunno:

 

I'm thinking it's the A-Spec TL. Why would Acura be photographing a TL and an RL on a racetrack when the RL is months away from being debuted here? Plus I'd imagine it's still in final development stages. It makes no sense.

its not the same front fascia... the gaps between the lights and upper grill are thinner and there's a flat bottom lower lip of some sort.. :thinking:....

 

They offered a dealer-installed bumper/fascia last time around...maybe thats it

Or TL FP lol

 

It's a TL. Sometimes I think people see things they want to see.
