Man I wish I had had the Kia. Then I could go find some pretentious dude(lots of em in my neighborhood) with a Cayenne V6 and take the bugger down.

Then again, 3.5V6 vs. 3.2V6...

In Porsche's defense... there was a V8 edition of the 928. Pretty fast. My cousin has one.

The 928 only came with a V8. It was a nice car but people used to call it "the German Corvette." Kind of heavy and way too many of em were sold with an automatic transmission but otherwise they're cool. And the styling is definitely unique.

Yes, I know QT. The V8 was the 928's only edition, it came in S, S4 or the wickedly fast GTS edition. I know a lot about Porsche history. I'm not talking about them building a V8 period (that is rather obvious, or else I would've criticised the V8 and Turbo V8 in the Cayenne), rather I'm talking about a V8 in a car that has in its history only seen Flat Sixes or VW Fours going back all the way to the legendary 356.

I would love to get a 928 GTS some day and fix it up h:

I think it is a way to get more people to buy it since it will be more affordable to more people but it will be a beast since its so heavy.

Thanks Bonzo, but that was a really obvious statement in all respects

Well, that's what happens when Volkswagen and Porsche get in bed together..... a pure bred stud suckered in to getting it on with a plain-Jane whore.

Yeah just call the base Cayenne the 914-2.0 of the new millenium. The 914-6 was a great car but its reputation was tarnished by the far crappier (and far more popular) 914-2.0.

I mean not that the Cayenne is great or something but at least with the V8-only options it at least lived up to the Porsche pedigree somewhat.
