Default 2005 Toyota Celica?

Haven't heard too many rumours of the new Celica, but I think Motor Trend did a piece on it a few months back. No real word on specs of pics, but ppl at ToyotaNation are talking about this:

That front bumper is a total rip off of the 360 Ferarri.

Agreed about the 360. I don't trust sketches or doctored photos anymore after all the crap that they threw out for the Accord and RSX :dunno:

yeah, they're just taking a stab in the dark, for the most part. they typically have some information from "reputable" sources. they'll look at past designs and past concepts, perhaps even some legitimate conceptual drawings. they base their renders off of all of this information, so they're trying their hardest. but usually the actual designs are kept pretty secret until actual test models are being produced. how close they are to artists' renderings is anyone's guess

That's an OLD picture, one with little viability now (probably).

I have a sketch from MAG-X of the RSX that actually was dead on.

MAG-X is the exception that I contemplated mentioning. Their renderings of the RSX and Accord were almost dead on.

With the exception of a few major media sources, you can't trust most anything out there. However, I'd say that there's been a few times when sketches have been pretty close. Take the Mk V Golf. More than a year ago there were at least a few credible sketches that turned out remarkably close to the real thing.

as someone said earlier, this picture is old and fake. it was also labeled the next sprinter/trueno. doesn't really matter what it is, it's just a photoshop of the current gen celica
