Sweetness. The RTR Integras still own after how many years now. The only problem I see is the rear suspension, if they can do whatever and fix that, then with this more powerful powerplant they should keep on winning.

that car is the RSX type s thats being raced next year by the Realtime race team in the Speedvision cup...its been tested all this year. And WILL be ready for next year..http://www.realtimerl.com/indexRTR.html, that is NOT a type r RSX, it is a USDM car. They have done tons of testing on them, and expect it to be faster and better than the ITR's where according to published interviews on Speedvisions site, and the RTR site

Taylor, noone said it was a Type-R. They need a USDM car that was made less than 3 years ago, so the G3 ITR will hafta be taken off the series next year or the year after.
The G3 ITR was by far the most succesful car on the tour, constantly beating out RWD BMW E30's and E36's...apparently this car has the potential to do all that and more

If you have the money, tooling your RSX Type-S can essentially give you a Type R. The Type R engine has 20HP more (a AEM CAI can give you that much on this particular engine), stiffer suspension, etc. Many of these parts can be ordered through JDM suppliers.
Oh well, it's good to see it has some potential.

Safety Modifications: Each car is equipped with a roll cage, safety harness, fuel cell, a driver's-side window net and an on-board Halon fire extinguishing system. The driver's seat must be replaced with an aftermarket racing-type seat.
Authorized Modifications: The front passenger seat and rear seats may be removed. Air-conditioning and radio also may be removed. All wiper blades, belts, hoses, filters, gaskets and electrical and ignition system components may be replaced with approved replacement parts. Fuel management is open.
Engine: Engines may be modified as per the Vehicle Technical Specifications (VTS) sheet for each make and model. Flywheel and clutch assembly are free, but ring gear must be of original diameter. The crankshaft and all parts of the reciprocating assembly must weigh within the manufacturer's weight tolerance.
Fuel: All cars must use a spec unleaded fuel produced by Elf Race Fuels.
Drive Train: Vent and breather lines may be added to the transmission and differential. Oil pumps and coolers may be used. Suspension: The suspension mounting points may be moved one inch and the wheelbase and track must remain as specified. Shock absorbers may be replaced, but must remain in the stock location. Any front or rear anti-roll bar may be used, provided it is bolted, not welded, to the vehicle.
Brakes: Alternative-material brake pads and shoes may be substituted for original equipment units. Both the SPEED GT and Touring cars may use four-piston calipers, with Speed GT restricted to 14-inch maximum rotors and the Touring Car class restricted to a maximum 12-inch rotor.
Exhaust System: All cars must use mufflers and must comply with the maximum 107dba limit.
Wheels: The standard wheels may be replaced with direct, bolt-on aftermarket wheels. Maximum diameters are generally 18" for GT cars and 17" for Touring Cars.
Bodywork: All Touring Cars may run spec rear wings and approved aftermarket body kits. GT car bodywork must be approved.
Tires: The SPEED World Challenge Championships utilize the Toyo Proxes T1-S ultra high-performance street tire. Tires may be shaved.
