Do they sell (or are they going to sell) the A-class in the US? I saw one parked at a mall yesterday, a not-so-pretty metallic pea green, and it was LHD with California plates. Looks MUCH smaller in person that in phots which make it look like a minivan.

 

From various magazines over the last few months, I heard that the next generation A-class will be sold in the states as an 05 model. I guess the new A-class debuts in Europe next year and will come in 5-door, 4-door, and a coupe variant. Unfortunately for us we will only get the 4-door from what I've read. From the spy pics (someone can prolly find and post) it doesn't look much diff. than the current generation. And I think that we'll be getting the same engines as in the C-class coupe (which are pretty ghetto).
