I've said this before and I'll say it again...... Bangle is really messing with BMW's historical lineage, and the fact that they are letting him do that dissapoints me. That is sixty years worth of BMW standard design cues out the door. You watch..... the kidney grille is next, then it will be all over.

Think about every BMW you know. Up to the new 7 series, didn't they all have a basic, unmistakable look? A comonality. Dashboard angles, profile lines, tail lamp taper, front end look. BMW has been able to keep their basic look between model lines and over the years even with major redesigns, safety implementations, and new technologies. The 2000 740iL has the same traits as a 1980 323i, do they not? Outside of the kidney grille, there is nothing to associate the BBMW (Bangle BMW) from the rest of them. The precident has already been set. It's clear they've given him free reign to do whatever he wants. Mabe the grille is safe for now.

I know. Bangle sucks, but hey, what can we do? I'll just wont buy as many BMW's as I would have.

This is a sketch of the M6:

For some reason the front doesn't look as droopy as the finished product. The grille and headlights both seem a bit larger and the headlights look to be more flush with the rest of the bumper. Also the hood doesn't extend down quite as much.

Now if it looked like that, it'd be pretty decent.

Yup. Droopy. That's the Z4's downfall, droopiness. Wonder why.

So I was out and about, and I saw an Aztek drive by. Then I realized why the 6-series headlights look familiar.
