My uncle was at the MB/AMG plant last week, he said there was a finished SLR there. I think it was that taped up silver one. He went there to test drive the cars, and they hooked him up to all these moniters and stuff. It's this big thing Mercedes has going on, they are testing the hell out of each and everyone of their cars. He was really bummed he didnt get to drive the SLR, because he's interested in buying one. He was able to go downt here because he owns a few AMG models and buys many Smarts from Diamler for his car rental business. A lot og magazine editors and what not have also down this. I think this is a great idea, to moniter how the car affects people in order to make changes in the right directions.
