They're both Rebadged Daewoo's.

Chevy Epica = Daewoo Leganza

Chevy Optra = Daewoo Matiz

Good catch kazi and Adröck.

At least they look better, before I thought the designs didn't flow at all.

So the Nubira and Lanos aren't coming back in any form? Damn!

The Epica will come to the US as a rebadged Suzuki, I think its the Forenza. The cars don't actually look that bad. Milestones above the old Daewoos for what its worth.

Canada is also getting another rebadged Daewoo as a Suzuki. The rebadged Daewoo is going to be called the Suzuki Swift, which is not going to be sold here in the States by Suzuki. The car is similar to the Chevy Aveo.

Good tidbit of info, and welcome to the board. Nice car by the way.

The Swift was the name Suzuki sold the Metro as in the United States when it was in production.

I will never understand why GM is attatched to the concept of rebadging Japanese and Korean cars as Geo/Chevrolets. Seems totally redundant to me, especially when there's already a Chevrolet model being sold in the same market segment.

But with Daewoo, I guess they've gotta sell them somewhere...

When I look at the Epica I see a wannabe CL front end and Civic rear end slapped onto the old Leganza.

The Optra wishes it was a Volvo S40.

These rebadged Daewoo Chevrolets will be sold only in Canada.

While Suzuki will sell these Daewoos in the States as the following:

Chevy Epica = Suzuki Verona

Chevy Optra = Suzuki Forenza

Suzuki will also be selling a Swift in Canada too, which is the same as the Chevy Aveo the will be selling here and in Canada. This gives Canada some interesting cars. i.e. Acura 1.7EL, Honda Civic LX-Sport sedan, Toyota Echo hatchback.
