remember when they refreshed the solara? suddenly it has a pointy nose like acuras...

 

i think it looks really good! it looks like they put a lot of thought into every aspect, and came out with a good whole package. my only complaint is that its a hybrid. :madfawk:

hybrids suck bawls. :booty:

just put a one liter gas engine in there thats good for like, 60 hp, and it would be better. probably get better mileage too. not to mention be a lot cheaper :fawk:

thats definitely a car i would drive though. :thumbup:

 

honestly i dont see anything *wrong* with it.... arguments about cars looking like others can go on all day..... Function over form.

What do those little black things on the doors do.... just unlock the doors or what?

Im cant wait to see what mistakes toyota did with the next solara, debuting tomorrow.

 

I agree , it does look funky. It also looks like an Aztec in the rear when viewed from the front side.

I'd still rock it though. Ppl dont buy a Prius for its looks.

That roof line is just... unnatural.

 

Toyota is now using "Hybrid Synergy Drive" whatever that means....increasing power and fuel economy, as well as "by wire" technology for the throttle and shifting. Stability control and ABS are now both standard. Wheels are now 15''. Some cool features: Air Conditioning system that can cool the cabin w/o the engine running, Avail. HID headlamps, Smart Entry and Smart technology for Auto recognition Keyless entry and ignition systems. Optional DVD navigation + Optional Bluetooth technology for hands free cell phone use, + steering wheel mounted audio + A/C controls.

Some of those things are really cool. All this can be found at Toyota's site...

Still doesn't change the fact that other than the Aztek, it will be one of the ugliest thing on the road. :barf:

 

thats your opinion.... styling means nothing, because your next door neighbor or my best friend could love the ext, as well as thousands of others.... not everyone likes everything. All i can say is... its looks are strange.
