This has gotten a bit off topic but I just wanted to say something about that......

The Civic Si. Why the **** isnt it a rally car already? I mean, seriously, it reminds me so much of the focus which has turned into a great rally car. It already comes with a rally mounted shifter jeez. Anyways, because of the sucsess of the WRC Focus, Ford is now going to make the Focus RS for Europe, with the turbo and AWD and all that good stuff.

So i am dreaming of a turbo awd civic si.....

It's i-VTEC. There is no 'h' in VTEC. It stands for Variable valve Timing with lift Electronic Control. No 'h' in there. It's an acronym, not some stupid Daewoo D-TECH (what a frigging joke) excuse for a crappy engine with no variable valve timing.

Don't forget Ford's "Z-TECH" in last year's Escort.

Aren't "D-TEC" and "Zetec" just engine names, kind of like Duratec or i-Force?

Since the origional, one and only VTEC was released, everyone and their brother has named one or more of their engines some sort of "TEC", even though it has nothing to do with the actual mechanics and operation of the engines, as it does with Honda, BMW, and Toyota. Immitated, never duplicated!
