I'm not sure what to say about the front end.

only that it's looking very unBMW like.

The rear has styling cues from the X5. It will be intersting to see what the new facelifted X5 looks like in comparision to the X3.

bmw's new styling direction sucks

i was hoping that the 5series wouldn't be too bad, but i'm disappointed w/the headlights and tailights of that car

This x3 is only for those who want the bmw emblem on their car, fort gods sake, how much more functional will an x3 be versus a wagon or sedan?

 

I think it's wayyyyy too covered up for anyone to judge anything........I'll wait and see the real thing before I say what I think......

 

Agree with rb6teg, you can't really make out more than just the general shape. Kinda combine this with the X-Activ concept and I think you'll see the production version of the X3. It's due out this fall, so I doubt there's really all that many changes they could make (feasibly) from the concept. And the concept generated alot of positive views so I think they'll just stick with that. Personally, I think the new 5 series and X3 (from the concepts and spy photos floating around) look good. Now just curious to see the 1-series.

 

Hard to see. The overall profile of it is 7/8 X5.

 

the only camo i see is on the front end. i don't see any camo on the side or the rear

 

the X3 is not scheduled to be released until 2004. My guess is june 04 to september 04.
