Also MG also has those rims. Those type of rims are very popular in Europe.
I know...I agree. But those are still BMW rims in the original pictures!

And I doubt those are the production headlights or grill.

At a glance:

Sporty V8 Engines

4-Series Coupe & Convertible models

More cabin space

New 6-Speed gearbox

High-Tech electronic features

Length 4500mm, Width 1770mm increased wheelbase by 35mm to 2760mm

Rear Wheel drive with MacPherson strut up front with Trapezoidal-shaped multi-link rear suspension, parts to be shared with the forthcoming 1-Series.

Speed sensitive Rack-&-Pinion steering which incorporates BMW's new Active Front steering system.

New brakes advanced electro-hydraulic to replace current all hydraulic system.

DSC+T, Anti-lock brakes & CBC (Corner Braking Control) will be standard.

Adaptive headlamps that swivel to follow the angle of the front wheels to improve night-time visibility.

Re-engineered 6-Cylinder engines will feature the Valvetronic throttle system along with the third-generation version of the Vanos varible valve timing & direct injection from the 760i flagship.

New 3.6Litre V8 developing 272Bhp will feature in a new performance model to bridge the gap between the current 330i & M3.

Re-worked versions of the diesel models in 2.0 & 3.0Litre in-line six turbocharged common-rail engines, diesels are to feature new advanced "piezo" technology for more efficient combustion.

New 6-speed automatic transmission & manual with optional SMG sequential shift arrangement, centre console mounted lever.

3-Series coupe & Convertibles to adopt the new 4-Series moniker, looks likely that the next M3 will actually be called the M4.

A new 6-speed? Why? The one used for the BMW 330i Performance Package is perfectly fine. I don't find a lot of this information credible, and the rest of it is rather obvious.

This information probably applies to Europe. We may get left over stuff the first year.

I'm not sold on electrohydraulic brakes yet, although so far Mercedes is the only company that has done it so far and their brake pedals have always sucked anyway. I still don't know how you would be able to threshold brake an electrohydraulic system unless the computer manages to perfectly interpret what your foot is doing.

I think it would work well. should not be much different from doing throttle by wire.

BMW has done an excellent job with that on the E46 M3.

Sucks that they find so much info on a february 2005 3series, but can't find jack on a september 2003 new acura TL
