Hummer to launch H2 SUT (autonews.com)
General Motors told dealers at the National Automobile Dealers Association conference that Hummer will expand its model line next spring with the introduction of the H2 SUT.
Although pricing for the H2 SUT is not yet final, GM says the vehicle is expected to have a price tag in the mid-$50,000 range.
The H2 SUT will feature a short pickup bed located behind the second passenger seat. The overall vehicle length, however, is expected to remain unchanged. In addition, the SUT will feature a Midgate behind the passenger seat that lowers, expanding cargo capacity for carrying such things as wallboard or 2x4s.
It will be built by AM General in Mishawaka, Ind.
