China:

United States:

That's the Chinese version, which is based off ours. It will be assembled in China, as will some Odysseys. They get three engine options: The K20(probably the 160hp version), K24, and J30A2. As far as I can tell, it's basically the same as ours otherwise. Except the K24 and K30 models are both "EX", and the K20 model is "LX".

Is it just me, or does it look a LOT better? The fog lights and grille own us. So I suppose we'll be seeing wannabe CDM Accords now

I'm going to predict the future here...

The Chinese version will essentially be the USDM 2006 Honda Accord refreshing.

I'm just wondering what the rear end of the Chinese Accord sedan looks like. If its better than ours, I'm behind you on that refresh.

It sure does look better that ours. The rear though is the same as ours. for USA and China.

Also, they have the 200hp K24 avail in their lineup.

Car and Driver called it 'Frumpy'

And we all know C&D's tastes... :eh:

I don't see the 200hp K24 as being worth it in the US midsize market. The only way it would have a place is if the V6 was automatic only, IMHO.

the rear is not the same, the tails are the same, but it has chrome accents that wrap around each of the back corners, as well as chrome accents that wrap around the license plate... not that that makes a huge difference, and it doesnt make it look better. It also has chrome ext. door handles, and chrome accents on all door moldings. But i do like our gauge cluster better than theirs. Im not that sure if i like all the chrome in the grill on the chinese version after realizing it had so much.
