Im doin it this week as our good sir AcuraFanatic is visiting his brother in law and they're going to race AF's NSX with his Ferrari 355. How boring. Anyway, on to the show...a legitimate M5 competitor!

- Ford parts bin in some areas, extremely outdated transmission, get rid of the freakin J Gate, No 6 speed available, not nearly as sharp as the M5.

- It's nice to see Jaguar finally come to the party with a beautiful and fast sedan. Hopefully all that Ford provided was money and not engineers.

Wow, what a beautiful car. I still love the M5 for its perfectness in all categories. The S-T-R matches the M5 in engine and interior capabilities, but it cannot beat the M5's refinement, gearbox, and chassis. That said, I chose the M5. The S8 is way too soft for me and the E55 has never done much for me. What do you guys think? Feel free to post away
I've always felt that the Jaguar's name has been diluted with the S-type and X-type as guised up Fords. Jagaur doesnt have the same awe as it did in the 80's reaching more exclusivity than even Mercedes. Don't get me wrong, the S-Type is a nice Jag, but the thought about it sharing a lot in common with the Lincoln LS leaves me :a:.
I'll take an MB E-class over the Jag. The 2003 E-class is hands down much better design than the boring current design. Here's some pics of it.
I voted the the M5 though.

BTW, I think you should've used an Audi RS6 (it is coming to USA in very limited numbers) instead of the S8.

"The RS6 has a twin-turbocharged 4.2L V8 rated at 450 horses. This engine also produces 413 lb of torque. Another special feature of the RS6 is the Dynamic Ride Control system. Basically, this is an active suspension. For example, when you take a hard left turn, the suspension will not allow the body to "dip". The suspension is basically an anti-gravity device. The RS6 has 14.4" brake rotors up front and 132" in the back. As we know, the quattro AWD system slows down performance; so does the Tiptronic 5-speed manumatic. However, even with these two important factors slowing it down, the RS6 still rips to 60MPH in 4.8 seconds. If Audi ever puts a 6-speed stick in there, the RS6 would do 4.2 seconds. With all due respect, the BMW M5 sucks compared tot he RS6."

And BTW, that's the last-gen E55 in there...I believe they still produce it. The new one should kick some serious ass. And I'd rather have an E than an S as well.
