all Acuras are built the same now, only option is the Navi. system. this keeps production cost down so they can buy better quality plastic & leather. and you can't compare the IS300 to the TSX, if anything the Accord V6 or Acura CL is the better comparo.

What he said. BTW its a guy driving it....
i caught a backward glimpse about a half hour ago...it looks like the redline is >7K...i think gotta pay more attention....Its a shame we bothered with the bloated American Accord. Honda shoulda just figured how to put the J30 into the TSX body and just sell it as the accord and found something else for this niche...or even better Acura shoulda just screwed this niche and spent some money on the next gen Legend. (down with Acura nomenclature!)

Without a bigger engine, I'm on the fence on whether to buy this next year or not. Right now they're going for MSRP. I didn't get to drive it yet, but will soon. I stopped off at Infiniti and drove the G35 Sedan. That thing hauled a$$ like you wouldn't believe. It's also huge inside. The G35 sedan has slowed in sales and the guy quoted me $30K for the sport package and premium package. And that was before negotiating. That's why making the jump to a 4cyl sedan for $2K less is hard to justify right now. We'll see after I drive it.

I can see what you're arguement is on paper, but Honda is nothing but proven that it can show the competition the door using less displacement/cylinders. I think you'll be surprised at the TSX.
