Building on the heritage started with the Model T, the Ford Model U begins Ford's second century of innovation, providing a template for change not only for how a car can satisfy future needs of its users, but also for the way it is manufactured and how it impacts the world. It is designed for mass production, but has nearly infinite capacity for being personalized and upgraded. Model U has a reconfigurable exterior, going from a fully closed to fully open back end.
The interior is also reconfigurable and is based on a unique slot system. It offers advanced technologies that respond to customers' desires for convenience, entertainment and continuously improved safety. And it looks at how building a car, truck or SUV can strengthen the environment and not compromise it.

The 427 looks awesome if you ask me. I like the Mustang concept also; sure it's retro but it looks like they did a good job on it. Hell, that F-150 even looks pretty decent.
Of course I did say I liked the proportions of the BMW Z4 until I saw it in person... :barf:

The only thing the Model U doesn't have in common with Model X is the Hydrogen powerplant.
Why is the Ford Mustang concept an automatic? I don't get that. I guess Ford realizes that it's a poser car too.
Only Ford thing I like is the F150. And I just like its styling, I'd never buy a truck.
