Ford Model U

Building on the heritage started with the Model T, the Ford Model U begins Ford's second century of innovation, providing a template for change not only for how a car can satisfy future needs of its users, but also for the way it is manufactured and how it impacts the world. The Ford Model U is designed to offer something for everyone, but in 21st century terms. it is one way of expressing Ford Motor Company's visions for future transportation while meeting societal challenges.
Model U is designed to be good to you and good for the world. It offers SUV driving excitement that is affordable, but can grow with a customer's lifestyle and aspirations. It is designed for mass production, but has nearly infinite capacity for being personalized and upgraded. Model U has a reconfigurable exterior, going from a fully closed to fully open back end.
The interior is also reconfigurable and is based on a unique slot system. It offers advanced technologies that respond to customers' desires for convenience, entertainment and continuously improved safety. And it looks at how building a car, truck or SUV can strengthen the environment and not compromise it.

The 427 looks awesome if you ask me. I like the Mustang concept also; sure it's retro but it looks like they did a good job on it. Hell, that F-150 even looks pretty decent.
Of course I did say I liked the proportions of the BMW Z4 until I saw it in person... :barf:

The only thing the Model U doesn't have in common with Model X is the Hydrogen powerplant.
Why is the Ford Mustang concept an automatic? I don't get that. I guess Ford realizes that it's a poser car too.
Only Ford thing I like is the F150. And I just like its styling, I'd never buy a truck.
