I was about to say the exact same thing. That rear center console in the Maxima better be an option, because I can't think of too many people who would consider it a "useful" feature.

It seems like that comes along with the optional Elite Package.

I agree, the 3.5 liter VQ V-6, while a good engine, is becoming their 3800 V-6. Goddamn, it's annoying.

I added text last night. I thought you guys would find it interesting that the Maxima will stay FWD and just a small increase in hp. Freshalloy's preview saying it will "make at least 270 bhp" and AWD was all B.S.

Powering the front-wheel drive Quest is a 230-plus horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC V6
Interesting that Nissan didn't match the Odyssey's hp.

"230-plus" could still mean 240...

Shit, I LIKE the Maxima. I'd buy one  I'll take new and daring over conservative and boring in this case. Especially that SkyView roof. Can't wait to see that. Only 260HP and FWD (why not AWD?) is disapointing though.

The center stack on the Quest is just strange, but I do like the roof on the Quest, it looks very nice. But other than that one feature on that one car, I dont like any of their offerings.

Just basing off of Nissan's history. 350Z's numbers were "280-plus" and came out officially 287hp. So I have doubts "230-plus" means >= 240hp.
