Default Hasta la vista, BMW Z8.

The short life of the BMW Z8 will end in 2003 when BMW sells the last few hundred units of a special-edition Z8 - the BMW Alpina Roadster V8.

The Alpina Roadster, which has an automatic transmission, makes its auto show debut in Los Angeles in January and goes on sale in the United States in April.

I would take a Z8 if it was given to me but I would never buy one.

Mainly because it's a drop top.

See, M5 and Z8 have same engine and very similar performance. And what I said was you can have a M5 and M3 for the price of the Z8.

True the E30 rear suspension did plague the handling with twichy characteristics, but the Coupe was allegedly buttoned down much better than the roadsters.

True. My friend in London has one, and it's the closest to a "go-kart" feeling ive ever had in a car.
