a simple mistake;
How about the 0-60 in 7 sec.
The 6 speed coupe is supposed to be in the low to mid 6's.

If I want to know about the financial underpinnings of a company I read Forbes (Actually I really do read Forbes) but I would not consider them experts on cars at all. Nor would I trust anything out of C&D on the stability of a company financially!

On page 1 of 4 on the review, they say that an EXV6 6-speed goes for 25,900, "which is darned close to the cost of far more prestigious cars like the Audi A4 and BMW 325i. Ouch." Darned close??!!! WHAT!? Last time I checked, any normal 325i coupe will run ya around 32, if you're lucky. But wait, this gets better:

Just one page later, Forbes says (regarding the shifter):

"Even better than in BMW's 3 series? It's a close call, and we'll explain a bit more below about how it's semi-unfair to call any 3 series a sub-$30,000 car, but we still like the feel of the Accord's shifter a bit better."

Does anyone edit this magazine?

Piss poor editing and an author who really doesn't know everything about cars. The 2.4L V6 is a simple typo, but should have been corrected in proof reading. Same with saying it competes with the A4 and 325i.

qt, the steering wheel on the new Accoupe is the best steering wheel Honda has ever made IMO. Looks just like BMW steering wheels.

I hate it when non-car magazines try to review a car. Makes my head hurt.

I disagree on the best steering wheel. I think the S2000, Civic Si and Insight have the best steering wheel design. Perfectly sized, fat-spoked rims and a substantial feel to it. It's a petty arguement anyway.

Forbes sucks for automotive reviewing. They achieved a 7-second 0-60mph time out of the 6-speed Accord because they can't drive stick like most enthusiats.

DVP, good point made.
