New SUV concept from VW.....scary to say the least

I know this isn't a production concept, but I just don't see how something so hideous could come from a VW design studio.
It reminds me of a bad 80s kit car.

I say lower the car get rid of the mud tires, put some nice 17 or 18" low profile tires on that and they have themselves a nice sports car 
of course even if they do it, US will probably never get it

Too bad they cancelled production plans on the W12 coupe. What were they going to call it? Some weird german word... Anyway they basically decided that with Lamborghini and Bentley coming out with supercars, that there were enough VW brand cars in the segment.
