Default Honda Si Type R

One of my friends told me that Honda might bring over the new Si Type R, because the new Si isn't selling worth $h!t.:yay:

It's not gonna happen. They just won't do it, unless Civic sales totally collapse or Honda goes bankrupt or whatever. Type-R's are goodies Honda keeps overseas. The only reason we even got the ITR was because the Integra had been around for so long they needed to spruce up the model a little longer before RSX debuted.

200hp Civic Si. Maybe. Our Si is pretty much a Euro Type R, mainly missing the engine and the body kit really.

It'd be nice to see, for the Si is sort of a lame duck. The Si package would seem more appropriate of a sports package on a standard issue Hatchback version (although we have a 160HP engine too, the gearing combined with the weight of the car makes it no so quick).

Well, I said mainly, becuase a new engine and body kit would be expensive to add yourself. Wheels and brakes on the oter hand arent that bad.

As far as suspension, "The suspension components have been tuned to provide sharper handling and increased stability, and Honda says the Si features the same suspension tuning used for the Civic Type-R." - Edmunds.com

We've had a few threads on this...I don't know what to believe any more. I'm about 50/50 on this issue, for reasons I've expressed in the past...but I sure hope they'll bring it.

It's in last place for a lot of catagoeires, and hp boost would cure a lot of it's problems. Let's hope Honda ralizes that.

RSX-R I would say the chances are good it reaches our shores...as for the Civic-R I am with Chris...about 50/50. For each reason I have to bring it I also have one not to.
