Altima Coupe?
The rear of it looks really good with the sloping C-pillar....the doors are friggin enormous, obviously a photoshop. Nissan won't bother offering a Coupe version of the Altima - G35 Coupe, 350Z, etc....enough coupes as is. And it'd end up using the VQ 3.5 V-6.
A coupe has two doors.
A sport coupe has two doors and is small/light weight like a Miata, Corvette, or Ferrari Modena. It may have a vestigal back seat like a Porsche 911 or jap-spec RX7.
A GT coupe has two doors, is heavy and luxurious like a Ferarri Maranello, Mercedes SL or Aston Martin Vantage. It may have a vestigal back seat like an Aston Martin DB7 or Lexus SC.
A sedan has either two or four doors and a reasonably functional back seat. For example, a Chevy Monte Carlo is a two-door sedan.
A sport sedan is a BMW M3 or any of its assorted imitators.
Interpretations/corrections are welcome.
The Altima Coupe ain't gonna happen. The last front wheel drive 2-door that Nissan has sold was the '99 Sentra a.k.a. 200SX.

i would say the M3 (e46) is a sport coupe, if not sports car, but not a sedan....
the e36 M3 had a sedan variant however

Anyways, asianautica, I'm not going to keep going with this crap. You said, Nissan doesnt have any sports coupes, and you were wrong, it does, the 350Z. Simple.
One last time for me on this topic. The way I see it, sports cars are sport coupe. But not all sports coupe are sport cars.
Use this analogy. Cars are like shapes. Each cars are different, like each shape. A sport coupe is like a rectangle. A shape with four sides and four right angles. A sport car is a square. A shape with four equal sides and four right angles. Squares are rectangles (and before anyone argues with this point, look up the definition of a rectangle :fawk: ). But not all rectangles are squares. Have a good day y'all! :fawk:

Yup. Aint it funny how people always assume that an American car MUST be heavier than the imports?
