I will agree that the Ferrari line of engines sounds just sensuous, but the look is just slightly more conservative than Lamborghini. I can remember at six years old dreaming about the Countach. When I was about 10 I built a model of the LP1 edition that came out in 1986. It had engraved "Quattrovavole" ("Four Valve" in Itallian) valve covers and the details were right down to the twin intake runners in front of the rear wheels. I still have that model, and it's the one I look at more than any on my shelf, of which I have about 50. I haven't built a model for about 10 years, since my junior year of high school. But I think I will start looking for a Murcielago. God I love that car.

Yeah, Ferrari's like the 360 and 575 look great, but the design is not very aggressive. Let's not even talk about the Enzo But yeah the Murcielago is so mean looking, I cant think of any other car that would freak me out more to see in my rear view gaining on me.

575 Maranello would be my choice; on the styling and performance alone.

NSX does not belong with this group because of performance numbers and price tag.
All of these cars are priced over $120k and with the exception of the Aston have less then 13 second quarter times.

NSX belongs with Viper, Z06, 911 Carrera 4, SL500; the under $100k exotics.

575M

I love everything about the car (except the fact that I can't afford one).

I also love the variable exhaust (don't know the actual term for it)

Look at the inner exhaust pipes in this pic.

The Ferrari is very nice. However I am parcial to Lamborghini so that was my vote. In this price range for these cars that is what I think it comes down to...your own preference.

Vote for the Ferrari, but the Vanquish is sexy.

it doesn't just pop open at upper RPMs.

It's actually depent on the load and rpm of the engine, so it's not just a simple on off switch.

I actually did know that from somewhere, prolly a magazine. It's so cool how they can do things like that now.

This is the closest COTW vote ever. I suppose it all comes down to Flashiness vs. Finesse. I go for Finesse. Every time. The Lambo has never attracted me for the reason that is is just so damn gaudy. But that's what makes this class great, there's somthing for everyone's taste.

Flash = Lambo

Looks = Aston

Finesse/nameplate = 575M

Luxury = SL55

Bare Bones Racer = GT2

can it get any better? I think not :thumbup:
