They're not LED taillights. They were designed to give an LED effect.

Also, no surprise on Car and Driver giving the title to a Honda. I'm a subscriber and really enjoy the magazine, but sometimes they're really stretching to give the title to Hondas and Bimmers (or if they're being completely butt whomped, place them close to the top by razor thin margins)

Having actually driven a 2006 Accord LX sedan I am not surprised that it won the recent comparison test in Car and Driver. The instrument panel may seem dated but everything is easy to understand and use, and seat comfort for four is very good indeed. The I-4 with the 5AT transmission has surprising "pep," thanks to the lower gears emphasizing more acceleration and the strong-pulling K24 engine.

In short, Honda has its work cut out with the all-new 2008 Accord to improve on this.

I am pretty sure they are LEDs. They light up quick and are bright like on the Rav4s and Nissans.

Accords are LEDs, its the Civics that have "LED like effects". Camry hybrid also comes with LEDs.

Toyotas build quality is going down the pooper. My 4Runner with 17K miles on it has rattles in the rear hatch that drive me bananas. 17,000 miles!!!
