Well, in the future then. The G3's sold what... 60K in their first year. RSX isn't anywhere near that.

I don't think they have the capacity to produce that. 67,000 in the first year; 61,000 in the second. I don't think they have the capacity, nor is the market all to themselves and Toyota anymore. That is why the capacity is not there.

The g3 tegs also has less equipped trims that made the tegs cheaper and sell more. The RSX comes practically loaded and higher price tag for some people to reach.

I dunno Dave, They didn't report for September... but their August numbers were 20,000 and 10,000 respectively. So figure 18,000 and 8,000 with the increased competition and dwindling economy.

i think lost sales for the RSX is b/c it's not very appealing

but now you join the eliteness of the 'lude.. though the 5th gens can still out handle you

Haha I doubt it. The 5th gen Lude SH only handes better because of ATTS, c'mon...wait'll the G4 ITR with an LSD, we'll see then :fawk:

I'm surprised that the RSX sales sort of tanked, and how they haven't been as popular as the Integra was. Then again, there's also eight years worth of Integras on the road, plus a sedan and various other variants/trimlines, so maybe it's deceiving.

for the record the rsx has beaten the celica in sales almost every month since the rsx appeared...toyota should have a redesign soon or at least a refreshening
