Default Yet another pointless variation on the truck: GMC Envoy XUV

Ok, so try to picture this. You take an Envoy XL and replace everything aft of the rear seats with a covered pickup truck bed and midgate (a la Avalanche and Escalade EXT). Then you add a powr-retracting roof panel which goes over the bed, and a tailgate that either opens down like a pickup bed or swings to the curb like a CR-V or RAV4.

The model X had that same idea on their concept.

Anyways, it looks butt ugly, and I hope every SUV thats retardly gross or grossly retarded is tossed into the deep fires of hell :madfawk:

Exactly. They try to sell 'cool' things, it's all bullshit. The last car to have that feature was a Studebaker, they advertised that it could carry Fridges. Of course, we all know what happened to Studie a couple years after they released it...

Cool now I can bring hope that $1500 bookcase from Ethan Allen and on the way I can get all the bugs stuck to it, rockchips on it, and God forbid it rains.

GM is flaunting their "technology" (ie 1980's pushrod engines), but the execution of these products will not sell.

I'm not going to be the one driving behind that sucker when the soccer mom doesn't put the tailgate on properly and it launches off the back...
