I'm not really a big fan of Honda or Acura. It's just that I'm even less of a fan of Infinitis. I prefer the TL's uh, more angular, styling to this G35. And Acura's interiors are better than Infiniti's too.

 

TL interior > Current G35 interior, I agree. But RL interior > M35/45 interior, I have to disagree. New G35 interior > current TL interior for me. Both are much better looking than 3-Series, C-class, and A4 interior.

 

There are two major aspects about the new G interior that throw it all away... the orange information box and the ugly steering wheel. if they had made the infobox blue or white (something to match the rest of the instrumentation) and just used the M steering wheel, easily trumps the TL. I love the RL, think the interior is gorgeous, but yes... the new M in beige is better, just barely.

 

It's all depend on taste I guess. I love the new steering wheel more than the M steering wheel. It just look alot less bulky, kinda like the 3 series steering wheel. I guess they make it orange, following the German. I would prefer it to be white/blue too. But I can definitely deal w/ that. I don't mind the orange gage of my G35c, so the orange info box is fine w/ me.

If there was better lighting in the exterior pics, I'd have something to comment on. A black car in the shade doesn't give you much to work with visually. h:

I can say that I'm not feeling those taillights at all...blobby shape and protruding lamp bezels FTL. I think the whole rear end of the car is apologetic and wimpy. A butt lift would do wonders. :hsughr:

Interior-wise, it's an improvement but again nothing to write home about. :shrug:

 

Infiniti interiors lag behind Acura interiors, certainly.

 

Looks pretty nice, interior wood needs a little work but pretty decent overall
