i couldn't agree more! i've never thought the vw/audi designs were very exciting or "emotional", or any other adjective often used to describe european cars. i've always thought they were pretty damn boring. that's not to say they look bad, tho. in fact i think some of them look really good. just nothing special...

thats because no one ever paid attention tot he last generation TT except for little rich girls and older men who thought they were out of denial about their favorite car being the new beetle in yellow so they decided to buy the more manly TT

It does bear some resemblance to the Z but it's unmistakably a TT. I think it's an improvement all around, but what I'm curious about is will it have that hot new transmission? That could become a pretty big deal.
