Does anyone know what that thing on the lower right hand side of the engine pic is? It looks like maybe an auxiliary oil or water pump that's electrically driven?

yum. checked one out (a8l duh) the other day while my friend was looking for an a4. this thing is huge, and the interior is very nice. it's much nicer than the 7 or s. also the trunk is a cave.

Still not wild about the big ol' grille, but the rest of the car is quite nicely done. I particularly like the choice of wheel; it's one of the best OEM designs I've seen in quite some time.
