i agree, he puts too much into thinking the ex sedan is similar to the si or even one of the coupes. he pays no attention to the fact that their are different options in the lineup avalible..


but he might be commenting on the weight... many of us never had the chance to go from big clunker to tight little sport compacts and watch them grow into these heavy pigs that they seemed to evolve into.

I wasn't aware that the EX Coupe was any different from the EX Sedan in anything other than bodystyle. Past Civic coupes haven't handled much differently from the sedans.

Yup, they started doing it with the 7th gen Accord. You can read all about the differences in the technical data on www.hondanews.com

Having actually test-driven a 2006 Ciivic LX sedan, I can say that the vehicle is surprisingly good handling-wise, even without the sportier suspension of the EX and Si coupé models. It corners flatter than my 1998 Civic HX CVT coupé, that's to be sure.

i read there was quite a difference in 0-60 times for the 6th gen coupes and sedans
