Way to go GM for providing dumb people a fugly but cheap alternative to the Civic. I remember 15 years ago a Honda was a poor man's car. I remember 5 years ago a Hyundai was. Now it seems to be GM taking the lead.

I don't think the front looks bad at all, it did need a little something, however the rear is disgusting, and no matter how good it looks, i would never EVER buy a cavalier....the interior is like a jail cell. My sister wrecked her car, and her rental is a cavalier, such a ****ty car, it's torture riding in it.

BTW, whats up with that horrible steering wheel?? Can it get any uglier???

I find the front extremely ugly. Maybe it's just me. IMO it's one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen in the last 2 years. I prefer a Kia Rio over that.

I bet those focus groups GM loves sure likes these designs. Aztec, Avalanche, Cavalier, Sunfire...ugly design after ugly design.

Your typical waste of domestic sheet metal.
GM is only good at making full size trucks (SUV/Pickups), Cadillacs, and Corvettes. Everything else they produce is junk.

They've been selling the same damn Cavalier and Sunfire since '95. This is like the third "facelift" on the same ole car. And since they just "redesigned" the damn things it looks like they'll be on the market at least for the '04 model year. But hey, in middle America this crap sells to people over say, 35 years of age who just want an American car and won't have it any other way. So GM keeps building this crap because they know people will still buy it.

And when talking about fugly-ass GM creations, you can't leave out the Saturn Ion. At least it's on a new platform so it might drive alright, but damn if it ain't atrocious to look at. I can't even bear to post pictures of it.
