Saw my first 2003 Accord
Ok... Due to the fact the new Accord officially goes on sale Monday I figured we'll be getting a couple posts with this topic. They all can be posted in here.
So today I went to one of my little brother's soccer games (this is high school soccer, not kiddie kicks or anything like that). On the way we drove past my Honda dealer, and what did they have but a new Accord. I would have stopped, but my dad was the one behind the wheel. The front was parked toward the dealer, so I got a view of the back. The pictures seem to represent it pretty well. It does look bland, but didn't come off as ugly. I counldn't see the wheels (2002 Accords were parked on both sides of it), but it was either an LX or EX (painted mirrors and trim). It actually blended in quite well, as it was painted silver (as were the two cars next to it). Ok, so I didn't get a great view of it, but I did actually see the real thing. Hopefully a test drive will come about soon. (Luckily the dealer knows I'm a car nut, how many Acura drivers go to test drive an Accord?)

I also saw one at my local dealer as I was driving by. It looked nicer than the pics.
Also, there is a silver 350Z going around town, ive seen it like 4 times now, and I must say that it looks VERY nice in person. It comes off as this mean and macho car that eats mustangs for a mid afternoon snack. If the 350Z looks this good in person, I cant wait to see the G35C.

I also took a trip to my local Honda dealership, two of them actually. The first one hadn't recieved any and claimed they wouldn't until late in the month, strange I thought. So I went a little further to another dealer that indeed had 4 sedan, all 4-cyl, three EXs and one LX. They were all still covered with plastic in and out, but overall from what I could see I was impressed with the build of the car. It's not a car that hides its size very well, which kinda disapoints me just because I tend to favor a smaller car.
Anyone else notice the size of the "H" emblem on the frontend? It's ridiculously huge!

Yup, seems a lot of other manufacturers are enlarging their logos. We've already seen Acura's with larger logos. Saturns are enlarging their logos for their 03 models. Blame this trend on the bling bling Cadillacs. :ugh:
