I am surprised that the Mercedes was so low...also the W8 doesn't seem to fit in this category since it is an 8cyl engine as opposed to the 6cyls of the other models.

Where is the complete article? What were the categories? No surprise though that BMW was at the top.

I don't think the G35 owner care much about the TL-S. I think they're eyeing the 330i more than anything else. I think these test are very subjective as well, because R&T did a similar test and the result is as follow:

11. Lincoln LS
10. Jaguar X-Type 3.0
9. Volvo S60 T5
8. Cadillac CTS
7. Mercedes-Benz C320 Sport
6. Acura 3.2 TL Type-S
5. Audi A4 3.0 Quattro
4. Saab 9-5 Aero
3. Lexus IS 300
2. BMW 330i
1. Infiniti G35

Here's the link if anyone want to read the whole comparison:

Not to discredit the R&T comparison, but R&T tend to focus more on performance where as C&D looks more at the overall package. I tend to like C&D reviews and comparisons more than MT or R&D, but I still read them all to check out what every editor has to say about each cars.

I am looking at this list and at all of the cars that have been redesigned or newly built since the current E46 has been in production and it amazes me that the BMW still is considered #1 no matter how close other cars come to it.

Lets hope Bangle does not fock up the next generation.

Wow, the TL-S came up short yet again. Let's hope the redesign will help its cause.
