Mercedes to show CLK "kinda hybrid" at Frankfurt
Mercedes-Benz is planning to display a special prototype version of its CLK-Class two-door at this fall's Frankfurt Motor Show.
The show car, called the CLK ISG, is a gas-electric vehicle, which a company spokesman described in a recent interview with Inside Line as a "kind of hybrid." For now, the prototype is bound only for the show and not for showrooms.
Mercedes will have five CLK ISG models on hand in Frankfurt. The cars will be available for test-drives at that time. Although Mercedes could build a version of the car for sale, the model's production plans are unclear at this time.
