But yeah it's only a two year thing so it is what it is. I just can't wait to read more about the third generation Impreza if they call it that I mean.

Nothing wrong with having 3 facelifts. It's better than having only 2 in 8 years like the Integra. Well that is if you happen to like the changes. I had a 95 GSR and currently have a 02 WRX. I actually like it that my cars look current for such a long time. Got 7 years with the GSR and getting 6 years so far on the WRX. Anyway that middle grill is hideous! Buyeyes for me.

After spending some time pondering this new front end, I have to admit that I'm warming to the headlight design. 
h: The rest of the front end needs work, but I'm interested to see what the aftermarket will do in response.

I know the hood scoop is part of the WRX lexicon, but it's still ugly as hell.
I wonder if you could get away with a cowl-induction / louvered hood and a puller fan on top of the I/C?
