The Murano is actually a VERY nice looking truck in person. I suspect when it comes out we'll have a worthwhile discussion on it.

Eventhough the Pilot isn't supposed to be much of an off roader, I think the Murano will be even less of an off roader. I think the PathFinder will match up against the Pilot better.

I didn't know you couldn't get a sunroof with a Pilot. Why not?

The PathFinder\QX4 seem to be a popular SUV here on campus. I see them with the big NCSU stickers on the back, but all are the same gray color.

I think the head of the Engineering department drives a MDX.

I haven't seen the Murano in person, but from the pictures it looks like a tall wagon/PT Crusier/Vibe to me, or at least the least truck-like look in its class. Particularly from the rear. Speaking about the rear, I'm curious to see if that rear pillar will be an issue to large blind spot like the Pontiac Vibe is.

Other than that, everything in it sounds good. The interior looks nicely laid out. Much better than the Altima. Should be a nice alternative for someone who don't want a bigger Pilot.

You want a sunroof so bad hang a 1000 watt flood lamp on the ceiling, paint a picture of the sky on the headliner, and open the windows

i don't think it even matters because a very large percentage of suv owners will never take it off roading
