I haven't seen this in person, but the interior looks nice. The exterior looks a little...hm....big car styling on a small car? Bloated? a little overdone here and there? I don't know, it's not entirely bad, but some parts of it (the short short rear deck) make it look ill-proportioned.

If Toyota engineers have improved the suspension design of the new IS series so it offers excellent handling handling without compromising ride quality (the bane of the current IS300), Lexus will have succeeded in building a true 3-Series competitor indeed.
I can't wait for BMW 330i versus Lexus IS350 comparison test later this year.

That would be a step backwards for Lexus to build a competitor for the 3 series.
