I really can't tell jack about an interior until I actually sit in it. You can't tell textures, quality, feel, anything from just pictures. While pics can certainly give you a general idea, I've sat in some cars that had awesome looking interiors, but when you actually sat in then felt really cheap and tacky. Granted, Lexus isn't going to have cheap interiors, but you get my idea.

I really like the previews of this car. I hope it drives as good as it sounds like it will.

I haven't seen this in person, but the interior looks nice. The exterior looks a little...hm....big car styling on a small car? Bloated? a little overdone here and there? I don't know, it's not entirely bad, but some parts of it (the short short rear deck) make it look ill-proportioned.

If Toyota engineers have improved the suspension design of the new IS series so it offers excellent handling handling without compromising ride quality (the bane of the current IS300), Lexus will have succeeded in building a true 3-Series competitor indeed.

I can't wait for BMW 330i versus Lexus IS350 comparison test later this year.

That would be a step backwards for Lexus to build a competitor for the 3 series.

so it would not compete with it how? being in the same price range, around the same size, or appealing to the same demographic?
