4-5 years i guess. it definitely won't go 7 years like the previous integra

the 2005 rsx will be the same as 2004....maybe 2006 they'll update the rsx. each generation lasts 3-4 years long(i'm splitting up the 94-97 and 98-01 models)

I saw those pics a while back... It is funny that everyone thinks that car looks like crap. I tend to think it looks better than the current rsx. If that car is in fact being sold in Japan as an integra you rsx owners got screwed. That car looks much more aggressive and tips a hat to the early 90's prelude which is never a bad thing. Of course I liked the prototype Z waaaay better than the production version so maybe I have lost touch with what the american public wants.

No offense, but unlike a lot of Honda people, I really don't care what they call cars in the Japanese market. In the US it is an Acura RSX. And if we can't get one, what's the use in contemplating what it would have if we could?

Never been one to follow the "JDM" crowd. I know my Prelude was built in Japan.

Built in Japan but NOT JDM ... did you just say "Scion tC" ??? !

It's interesting how Honda can make the Integra fit into the Acura lineup in the US as the RSX and be a "entry level luxury/sport coupe" ... and still market it as a sporty inexpensive compact in Japan.

But then again, JDM = 4-cylinder Toyota Altezzas.

one can also say using that same logic.

since there is no such thing as at DC5 RSX type r in the US, that can can't be a RSX type r

only Integra type r.

wned: after all, we can talk about international cars here, cant we??

and whatever else you say, it is still considered an Integra by the loyalists. it is just about the same exact car, besides the marketing ploy of the badges.
