Engine problems? Oh and how are their transmissions doing?....Just kidding.

Well I am sorry that the Accord looks ungly to me, but hey today I did find the angle of the car where it looks good. If you look at the front of the car, head on (like a deer would), it does look sporty and I can see where they got that cheetah stuff from.

Gas Guzzling:
I am gonna try to clarify what constitutes gas guzzling and what doesn't. Engines use gas to operate. Cars, not engines, get bad mileage and good mileage. This that affect gas useage:

1.Aerodynamics
2.Gearing
3.Weight
4.the engine it self
5.size of the rims (yes it does affect)
6.the driver of the car (lead foot?)

So a statement like Acura's 3.2 V6 in the TL-S makes more hp\liter and is better on gas. The first part is true, the second part is substantial.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Accord will still be sales King, but when the 6th gen debued, I said damn "this car looks nice and has more power than a Maxima". The 6th gen to me was way better than the Altima and Carmy.

Yeah... when exactly do we bask in the Honda-lovin from the Honda/Nissan Fan? Do we go over to the Fresh Alloy Forums and find him bashing Nissans? Or is this a misnomer or something?

Everything I liked about Honda seems to be going away. I really like the ITR, best handling FWD car ever. I hate alphanumeric systems. I often get confused so forget this RSX, WRX, TSX, GSX and all that stuff.

I loved the H22a motor. Now that is gone along with the Prelude. Now rumors of dropping the CL. I am not sure where Honda is going in the future. Nissan and Toyoto dropped all or close to all their coupes back in the '90s, and replaced them with SUVs, now it seems Honda is doing the same.

The Civic Si has changed into something I don't like.

When it comes to car makers I pay special attention to their sporty models

Honda has dropped or is about to drop:
Prelude, Civic Si (coupe), CL, CL-S

Only coupes that are left are :
NSX (90k not for college kid), and RSX

I really don't like SUVs all that much, although the 2002 Explorers are nicer than I thought, my dad just purchased one as a company car.

Don't forget the Accord coupe. And I guess you can almost say the S2000, but then its really a roadster. Does Nissan have a more affordable coupe, say an Altima/Maxima coupe? Or do they have a convertible, yet? Yeah, the Z will come out in a open top soon, but its not here yet, just like the RSX Type-R that is about to release from Honda. And speaking of that, Nissan doesn't even offer an RSX-S competitor. Nissan does not have a competing minivan to the Odyssey either.

Don't get me wrong. I like some of Nissan's products (Maxima, G35, Altima, Pathfinder/QX4, etc...). There's good and bads about both company offerings.

I guess I see where you are coming from. But Honda still leads all the classes they are in.

But Honda/NissanFan, know what upset me about Nissan? We never saw the S15. It's one of the most purdiful cars, and they didnt bring it over. Not to mention we alwyas had the KA24DE and not the SR20DET, much less the SR20VET.

Yes I think that is the worst move Nissan has ever made. Oh this is getting of topic, but Nissan sure did mess up on that one. Look at the Eclipse. It had a I4 turbo and sold pretty well.

Nissan has made many bad moves in the 90s, that's why they were near bankruptcy. However, they're fighting their way back. Just think, G35, G35c, 350Z, 350Z convertible, and also the GT-R which rumored to be release in 2004 w/ 450HP. Nissan is also in the process of redesigning the Quest which i think should be out in less than a year. First 7 doors minivan in the world. We'll wait and see what it can do before passing judgement. Also, I don't think Nissan will have a RSX-S competitor unless they bring over the real Sylvia. They rather go for the 3-series, it's more profitable.
